Nichos

Tin work developed in the New World as the Spanish colonists taught the indigenous people silver and gold smiting. Not initially trusting the natives with their precious metals, the Spanish gave them inexpensive tin with which to practice. Sophisticated artistry developed in tin craft, and nichos are a direct result. Use them to create your own small scenes of devotion.
