Gerardo Ortega, along with his brothers Oscar and Junior, have been creating these whimsical figures of clay for over 20 years. They follow in the steps of their grandmother in the traditional Barro Betus technique. His work can be found in museums throughout the region. He lives in a small village outside of Guadalajara Mexico.
