Product Description
It's Cactus - Bolivian Folk Art
This antique hand-carved wooden bowl is a beautiful addition to any collectors collection. The carving showcases the craftsmanship of the Quechua people of Bolivia and the Aymara culture. This was made from a single piece of wood. Traditionally these were used as ceremonial vessels, many commonly in weddings, to drink Chicha, a fermented corn beer. The yoked animals were a symbolic connection to unity, labor, and prosperity.
Condition: This is a vintage/antique, pre-used item, there are signs of age. This was previously used and has a "sticky" residue which is normal for many of these pieces. Please see pictures.
Size: 8.75"x7.5"x3"
